CTC Collects Four Scholarships Over The Weekend
Loretto, Pa. – Changing the Community’s 7v7 travel team played 12 games in 36 hours, participating in the St. Francis University passing camp on Friday afternoon, and the Rutgers University passing camp on Saturday morning. With a combined record of 10-2, CTC’s 2 losses were by a combined score of 11 points. Most of the defensive players played on both sides of the ball during both tournaments.
While CTC came up short in the championship game, the weekend saw a record-setting four players earn scholarship offers from St. Francis University for their superb performances. Three of the players, Todd Larocca, Isaiah Brown and Justin Davis, are sophomores, while Fardan Allen (Rush Henrietta) is the lone junior out of the group and CTC’s first offer for the class of 2015. Larocca and Davis are both transferring to Bishop Kearney High School in the fall, and Brown, who is being heavily recruited by Syracuse, is going to be a junior at Gates Chili.
