Wright scores 1st college touchdown

Micah Wright scored his first collegiate touchdown against the #9-ranked team in the country, Boston College, this past Saturday. Although the Black Bears eventually fell by a score of 40-10, Wright's first quarter touchdown earned the true freshman a starting role at receiver. Wright also returns punts for Maine, whose 10-3 record last year won them a Colonial Athletic Association title and a 2013 NCAA FCS playoff appearance.

Micah joins Maine after leading Newark High School to a 7-2 record and a class B semi-final appearance. He was named the 2013 Finger Lakes East Player of the Year and garnered all-state honors in football and basketball. Fellow CTC alum Bruce Johnson also attends the University of Maine and is the team's starting center.
